Steinway Gallery Singapore invites you to join us at a masterclass by Dr. John Sharpley this Sunday, 30th June at 2pm.
Dr Sharpley will be conducting a 2-hour masterclass featuring students of Ms Sally Chua and Mr Clarence Lee who will be performing pieces from Chopin, Brahms and Leos Janacek on Steinway’s latest innovation – Spirio|r.
With the recording and playback functions of the new Spirio|r, performers, teachers and students can now stand back to listen to what they just played – offering a completely different auditory experience from a conventional lesson. Another breakthrough is also the visualised pedalling, as it is previously not been possible to visualise the pedals moving up and down, which has great potential in teaching.
