Teaching on Boston Grand and Essex Upright
1. The sounds of the Boston Grand is so similar to the sounds of the Steinway Grand! The BEST thing is, the price! It is so much more affordable for many young pianists!
2. The 10 years promise to trade in for the Steinway & sons Grand Pianos.
3. Essex 123S and Boston Grand have deep tones! Ideal for advanced pianists!
As a teacher, the majority of my time revolves around the piano...
The Boston UP-126 allows my students more latitude in creating musically expressive statements with its enchanting singing tone, long sustain, and wide dynamic range.
With a consistent tonal color for each note and a sensitive response to the pianist’s touch, it creates a better and more nuanced musical experience for both me and my students.
In addition, the students are exposed to the sound and tonal quality of the better instruments, conditioning their ears to hear the distinct yet subtle difference between various concepts discussed during classes.
I would highly recommend this piano for students & teachers who are looking for a good piano.
My experience with the Boston Upright Piano has been really great.
The keyboard is very responsive and sensitive to touch when played upon and there is a great singing tone quality throughout the piano (high vibrancy on the higher range of keys with rich bass sounds at the lower ranger of keys), giving out a sense of powerful, sustained tone, just like the features of a grand piano.
Every single part (soundboard and keyboard) of Boston UP-126E definitely gives me the opportunity to express my musicality in a piece of music that I play.
Overall, this is an excellent Boston UP-126E model that I would highly recommend to students and teachers who are looking out for a good piano to kickstart their learning journey in piano studies.
The Essex UP-111 is an entry level piano with the most possible value for your money.
It provides for tonal volume in a small room and has better responsiveness and control as compared to most other entry-level pianos in this range.
Our studio toddlers and young beginners are always in awe of the rich, vibrant tone it produces. More often than not, they love coming for classes, citing the piano we use as an extra factor for motivating them!
The reason why we choose Steinway's piano, simply because it sounds better than other brands like Yamaha or Kawai......
Our shopping experience at Steinway Gallery Singapore is smooth and wonderful, the delivery and tuning services were great. The sales executive, Dennis is a wonderful young man, he is very helpful when we are choosing the piano.
As a parent, I would really recommend this Essex upright piano, it is better in terms of sound and touch. My daughter really likes her piano a lot. If I were ever to upgrade my piano I will definitely go back to Steinway & Sons.
