RANGE
The figured species of Eucalyptus nowadays mainly comes from the Northern region of Spain. It can also be found in Australia and South America but
not in such high amount compared to Spain.
USES
In countries where figured woods are highly appreciated, e. g. North America, the Middle East, Great Britain, figured Eucalyptus are used for interior
design, high-end furniture and ship interiors. Since the end of the 1990s, this wood is also used in the car industry for panels.
CHARACTERISTICS
The wood can vary from light, decent to very strong, distinct figure patterns. Strong figures could cause cracks in the surface of the veneer which can
make the works difficult. With regard to the colours, the wood varies from light yellow through greenish to middle brown.
