About Musikinder Artskool
Within less than a year of its formation, the Ensemble made its debut public performance in November 1997 at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Recital Hall: the highly acclaimed MusiKinder Drama Concert Opus 1 – Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker. Since then, the Ensemble continued its public performances (Singapore and Malaysia) in its highly creative and unique style of presentations incorporating dramatic arts, visual arts and multimedia arts with audience involvement, props and costumes whilst maintaining a high standard of performance techniques. Just within the span of 7 years, the Ensemble reached the public performance record of its concert opus number 8 with local concert venues such as Young
Musicians’ Society Auditorium, Creative Technology Auditorium, Alliance Francaise
Auditorium and the Esplanade Recital Studio.
When the Ensemble grew to become MusiKinder ArtSkool in 2005, its legacy of large and grand scales of creative public performances reaching the hearts of the audience continues. Also with the establishment of the ArtSkool (a compound derivative of Arts + Skool) in 2005, art enrichment programs were launched alongside its music programs.
Today, MusiKinder ArtSkool with its network base of about 800 music & art students island-wide, continues its mission to groom musical & artistic talents in dynamic ways.
