- The “ION Orchard VIP Spree” experience
1) The “ “ION Orchard VIP Spree” at ION Orchard Monthly Draw ” (the “Draw”) is organized by American Express® International Inc., Singapore Branch (“Amex”) and Orchard Turn Developments Pte Ltd (collectively the “Organizers”)
2) To be eligible to participate in the Draw, the individual must fulfill the following criteria:
(a) Be an American Express Basic Card Member holding a qualifying American Express Card. Personal American Express Cards issued by American Express International Inc. in Singapore (“Card Members” and “Cards” respectively). The following cards do not qualify for participation in the Draw:
(i) American Express Corporate Cards; and
(ii) American Express cards issued by DBS Bank Limited, United Overseas Bank
Limited, Citibank Singapore Limited; and
(b) Not be an employee of Orchard Turn Developments Pte Ltd., American Express International Inc., their advertising agencies, tenants and their employees at ION Orchard, and the subsidiaries of the abovementioned parties, the immediate families of the employees of the abovementioned parties and any other party who are directly involved in organizing, promoting or conducting the Draw as determined by the Organizers.
3) The Campaign Period is from 13 Jul 2018 to 31 Dec 2018. The Draw will take place over six (6) monthly draws and the Qualifying Period for each monthly draw are as follows:

4) Qualifying Card Members will be auto-enrolled into the Draw.
5) An eligible Basic Card Member will receive:
(a) One (1) entry for the monthly draw for every S$100 on eligible spend at participating shop(s) located within ION Orchard with an eligible Card during each Qualifying Period (as defined above). All SISTIC transactions, bill payments, transactions at Money Changer, Singapore Airlines Service Centre, Singapore Post, The Oaks Cellar, Davidoff of Geneva, cash cards, or gift cards top-ups, purchase of CapitaVoucher / tenant’s voucher / gifts cards purchases and/or from stores not located in ION Orchard at the time of purchases, do not qualify as eligible spend for the Draw.
(b) Ten (10) entries for the Draw for every new Basic Card approved and issued within the Qualifying Period, based on an application form Card Member obtains at ION Orchard American Express booths.
6) Every S$100 spent by the holders of any eligible Supplementary Cards at ION Orchard in accordance with Clause 5(a) within the Qualifying Period will entitle their Basic Card Members to one (1) entry for the Draw. Supplementary Card Members are not entitled to participate in the Draw.
7) Each Draw entry will entitle the Card Member to participate in subsequent Monthly Draws. E.g. 1 entry based on S$100 eligible spend made in Aug 2018 will entitle the Card Member to 1 entry in each of the Monthly Draws 2 to 6.
8) The prizes for the Draw are as follows and there will be a total of six (6) winners for the Draw (each a “Winner”):
i) Monthly Prize (the “ION Orchard VIP Spree”): One (1) Winner a month will receive a one-day shopping experience at ION Orchard and the total value of the prize will depend on the Qualifying Period:

The “ION Orchard VIP Spree” experience includes taxes in the price of the product(s) and the “ION Orchard VIP Spree” experience is NOT transferable, refundable or exchangeable for credit, cash or in kind and is subject to the Terms and Conditions set by Amex and/or ION Orchard. During the one-day shopping experience, product(s) and delivery service(s) are subjected to availability and any additional purchase(s) which exceeds the value of the prize for the Winner will be fully borne by the Winner and payments must be made with an American Express Card issued by American Express International Inc. in Singapore (excluding American Express Corporate Card and American Express Cards issued by DBS Bank Limited, United Overseas Bank Limited and Citibank Singapore Limited.). ION+ Points can only be awarded upon registration of additional Qualifying Purchase (s) made within 7 days of such Qualifying Purchases by the Member with a valid membership only. ION+ Rewards terms and conditions apply.
Amex reserve the right to change the above at their sole and absolute discretion.
9) The Draw will be held on the dates listed out in Clause 3 at the office of American Express International Inc. located at 20 (West) Pasir Panjang Road, Mapletree Business City #08-00, Singapore 117439, or on such other date or time or at such other venue as may be determined by Amex. The Winner will be selected at random by Amex by computerised system under the supervision of an independent public accountant.
10) All Card Accounts must also be in good standing from 11 July 2018, through to the time of awarding of the prize, in order for the Card Member to qualify to win the relevant prize.
11) The Winner will be notified by phone or post within seven (7) days after each Draw Date and the Winner will be required to sign an Acknowledgment Letter of the Prize within the next seven (7) days at the office of American Express International Inc. located at 20 (West) Pasir Panjang Road, Mapletree Business City #08-00, Singapore 117439. Redemption of the Prize is valid for the thirty (30) days from the date of signing of the Acknowledgment Letter.
12) To sign the Acknowledgement Letter, the Winner must produce his/her identification document. If there is any discrepancy between the winning entry and the documents produced for verification, the entry will be deemed as disqualified.
13) The Organizers reserve the right to replace any Winner if he/she is found to be disqualified.
14) Draw entries awarded to a Card Member are neither negotiable nor transferable.
15) The Organizers reserve the right to draw reserve Winners to replace the original Winner who may subsequently be disqualified or deemed ineligible.
16) The Organizers reserve the right to determine the number of entries allocated to an eligible Card Member.
17) By participating in the Draw, the Card Member agrees to be bound by the rules, regulations and decisions of the Organizers and by these Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions will result in a disqualification of the Card Member from the Draw.
18) By participating in the Draw, the Winner agrees to co-operate with and participate in any advertising or publicity activities of the Organizers relating to the Draw for over a period of one (1) year. The Winner agrees that Amex may publicize the name, identification number or passport number and/or photograph of the Winner in such mode and manner as Amex considers fit. By providing the Organizers with personal information, the Card Members consent for Amex to collect, use and disclose his or her respective personal information for the purpose of facilitating his or her participation and providing him or her with information on the Draw. The Winner also consent for the Organizers to share their personal information with the suppliers of the prize for the purposes of providing him or her with the prize.
19) If the prize is not claimed within the stipulated period, it will be donated to a charitable organisation agreed between the Organizers. The Winner whose prize has been forfeited is not entitled to any compensation notwithstanding the non-receipt by the winner of the wining notification for whatever reason.
20) The Organizers will not be responsible for any loss, claim or liability whatsoever suffered or incurred by any person in connection with the Draw (including the acceptance or possession of any prize) howsoever arising, including without limitation, any loss of opportunity to participate due to any entries not received for any reasons whatsoever, any error in computing chances, any breakdown or malfunction in any computing system or equipment, any notice which is misdirected or lost in post, claims, cost, injuries, losses, or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light.
21) The decision of the Organizers on all matters relating the Draw is final, conclusive and binding and no correspondence will be entertained.
22) The Organizers reserve the right to replace any prize with another item, or cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Draw at any time in their sole discretion without notice.
23) These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore laws the Singapore Courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions.
