I believe that the superb construction and design of a Steinway piano, with its painstaking attention to the various elements which create its legendary and golden sound.
From the unique Diaphragmatic Soundboard to the outstanding Sitka spruce and hard rock maple used, leave no other option for the discerning and life-long music lover. When it comes to pianos, it has to be Steinway.

Like most, before I decided on a Steinway, I have gone searching and trying other many good pianos. During the process, Steinway clearly stands out amongst the rest.
It is difficult to describe and quantify the beauty of the tone.. it is very clean and crisp, responsive to the touch. The experience of playing on a Steinway piano is priceless......

I choose Steinway for the qualities of tone, pitch consistency, touch responsiveness, and superior craftsmanship.
But honestly, while I know it is a superior instrument, I didn't realize how much more superior it is until my 3 kids had to take their ABRSM practical exam Covid-style remotely.
The power of the instrument comes through even on a simple handphone recording (not professional recording in a studio). Its a testament to the great quality and craftsmanship!

Quite simply, I consider them to be the best. Steinway pianos make beautiful music, and they make me a better pianist.
As the owner of 2 Steinway Model D concert grand, I guess I've never thought about the value-for-money aspect.
How do you place a value on an instrument this sublime?

I think Steinway pianos are the best: incredible quality (tone, sound, touch, and response) and the best value for money. Owning one is a 30-year-old dream come true.
I would highly recommend Steinway to my friend if their budget permits.
A worthwhile investment. The best piano that money can buy.
