Singapore, 8 June 2021– Steinway Gallery Singapore partnered with AMEX (American Express) as an official merchant, to free up your points when you spend in the gallery.

Through the Pay with Points Redemption Programcustomers could choose to pay for almost any item on the Card statement with Membership Rewards® points.

The points redemption program that allows you to pay or part-pay for any item in your Card statement, with your Membership Rewards® points, giving you the freedom to maximise your points wherever you choose.

Pay with Points +   

With Pay with Points +, customers can cover it with points at 25% better value (S$6.00 for every 1,000 points redeemed, instead of the usual S$4.80 base rate.)

Promotion is only valid for Card Members with an Eligible Card. (“Eligible Card” refers to a personal American Express Card issued in Singapore by American Express International Inc. that is enrolled in the Membership Rewards Programme, excluding American Express Corporate Cards and American Express Cards issued by Citibank, DBS and UOB banks.) 

How does it work?   

Terms and Conditions

  • The minimum points per redemption is 1,000 Membership points at any one time.
  • Promotion is valid from 15 December 2020 to 31 December 2021, both dates inclusive (“promotion period”).
  • Once purchase is confirmed, it is non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  • Promotion is not applicable in conjunction with other offers, promotions, loyalty programmes and discounts, unless otherwise stated.

Competition Requirements

Categories

  • Category 1 – Ages 11 and below (i.e. born on or after January 1, 2011)
  • Category 2 – Ages 12 to 14 (i.e. born between and inclusive of January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2010)
  • Category 3 – Ages 15 to 17 (i.e. born between and inclusive of January 1, 2005 and December 31, 2007)

Repertoire requirements

  • Participants must present 3 contrasting selections.
  • Repertoire must include the first movement of a Sonata by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Clementi, or Schubert.
  • No concerti or transcriptions are allowed.
  • Participants are required to perform the exact same repertoire for further stages of the competition.
  • Auditions will be conducted in a continuous, live-recording manner. Re-takes are not allowed.

Maximum 20 minutes
