Singapore, 1st May 2021 – Over the past 12 months, Steinway & Sons like many other businesses have faced remarkable challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the Asia Pacific region, Steinway Gallery Singapore and Steinway Boutique Manila have managed to not just survive, but grow by thinking differently and adapting to the changing circumstances. Hence, this year’s Steinway Business Excellence Awards seeks to acknowledge and reward the exceptional work and results gained by Steinway dealers who were able to innovate and grow under such unprecedented circumstances.

Steinway Asia Pacific has awarded Steinway Gallery Singapore and Steinway Boutique Manila with the top awards ‘’Best Overall Performance Award ’’ and  “Best Institutional Sales Award” in recognition of their success through innovation and resilience.

Ms. Celine Goh, General Manager of Steinway Gallery Singapore and Steinway Boutique Manila expresses her appreciation upon receiving the awards,  “Even before COVID-19, we were already adopting technological solutions and reviewing our business plans, business models and strategies hence we were able to adapt quickly to the sudden disruption caused by the pandemic to rise above the tide. But I hope to encourage and inspire others in the music industry to ride out the current crisis while also doing our best to help support the community.”

The esteemed Steinway Business Excellence Awards were introduced to acknowledge and reward the exceptional work and the results gained by the Steinway dealers, in the face of an ever-increasing competitive market.

The 2020 Steinway Business Excellence Awards seek out the leading lights of the piano industry, looking for those whose creativity, commitment, experience and strong leadership has helped them achieve success in an increasingly challenging retail climate. These awards recognise and honour the most respected companies along with their C-Level executives within the piano retail industry, whilst rewarding remarkable success in all its forms throughout the international Steinway community.
