SIYPC SOCIAL MEDIA CONTEST 2025

As part of the Singapore International Young Pianists Competition (SIYPC), Steinway Gallery Singapore is excited to launch the SIYPC Social Media Contest 2025!

This special side contest invites pianists to record their performance at Steinway Gallery Singapore and share it on social media. From 1 Dec 2025 – 15 Jan 2026, the public will be able to vote for their favourite performances online.

🎁 The Top 10 entries with the highest number of likes will each receive a limited-edition designer blind box collectible (Labubu series)!

Disclaimer: The SIYPC Social Media Contest is an independent public voting activity and does not affect the adjudication or results of the main Singapore International Young Pianists Competition.

    How to Join

    1. Register online
      • Sign up before 15 Oct 2025 on the official registration platform (link will be provided).
    2. Book your slot
      • After registering, book a recording slot at Steinway Gallery Singapore between 22 Oct – 15 Nov 2025.
    3. Bring your own recording gear
      • You must film your own performance (phone, camera, or other device).
      • Steinway Gallery Singapore provides the venue and piano only.
    4. Perform & Record
      • Play the Labubu Inspiration Song or a designated competition piece.
      • Ensure your video clearly shows you performing at Steinway Gallery Singapore.
    5. Submission
      • After recording, your entry will be uploaded to Gleam by the organizer.
      • You will receive a registration number and confirmation before voting begins.
    6. Voting
      • Voting starts 1 Dec 2025 and ends 15 Jan 2026.
      • Share your Gleam entry link with friends and family to collect likes.
      • At least 300 likes are required to qualify.
    7. Win prizes
      • The top 10 most-liked valid entries will receive limited-edition designer blind box collectibles (Labubu series)

    📜 Rules & Regulations

    1. Eligibility
      • Open to all ages.
      • Only one entry per participant.
      • Registration must be completed before 15 Oct 2025.
    2. Recording Requirements
      • Filming must take place at Steinway Gallery Singapore between 22 Oct – 15 Nov 2025.
      • Participants are responsible for their own recording equipment.
    3. Voting Rules
      • Official voting period: 1 Dec 2025 – 15 Jan 2026.
      • Likes outside this period will not be counted.
      • Artificial engagement (bots, paid likes, fake accounts) will result in disqualification.
      • Steinway Gallery Singapore reserves the right to verify engagement and disqualify suspicious entries.
    4. Prizes
      • Winners will receive limited-edition designer blind box collectibles (Labubu series).
      • Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.
    5. Disqualification
      • Entries that do not follow submission requirements (hashtags + tags + Gleam submission) will not be considered.
      • Inappropriate, offensive, or infringing content will be removed.

      • The campaign is organized by Steinway Gallery Singapore in partnership with SIYPC.
    2. Recording
      • Participants are responsible for their own video recording. Steinway Gallery Singapore provides venue and piano only.
    3. Intellectual Property
      • By entering, participants grant Steinway Gallery Singapore the right to use their videos, names, and photos for marketing and promotional purposes.
      • Labubu characters are the property of Pop Mart. They are included only as collectible prizes. This campaign is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Pop Mart.
    4. Liability
      • Steinway Gallery Singapore is not responsible for device failures, social media downtime, or lost entries.
      • All decisions on eligibility, voting results, and winners are final.
    5. Privacy
      • Participant data collected will be used for campaign administration and Steinway marketing purposes only.
    6. Changes
      • Steinway Gallery Singapore reserves the right to amend mechanics, rules, or dates with prior notice.

    Competition Requirements

    Repertoire requirements

    • Participants must present 3 contrasting selections.
    • Repertoire must include the first movement of a Sonata by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Clementi, or Schubert.
    • No concerti or transcriptions are allowed.
    • Participants are required to perform the exact same repertoire for further stages of the competition.
    • Auditions will be conducted in a continuous, live-recording manner. Re-takes are not allowed.

    Maximum 20 minutes
